The petal is mounted to a hand-shaped sterling silver metal backing that has a gorgeous floral print on it. The front of the petal is coated with a final UV proof and water proof clear coats. Chain is sterling silver and 18 inches in length.

Since this necklace is made from a real flower petal, its colors could change with time. However, if kept properly, it will keep its beauty for many years (and counting!) Treat it gently and avoid storing in excessively hot places, submerging in water, sleeping with it on, or storing in direct sunlight.
