HeeBee Geebs Flower Jewelry Care Instructions and Relevant Information

If these simple care instructions are followed, your HeeBee Geebs Jewelry will keep its beauty for many years and counting. We started making this jewelry in 2016, and some of our first batches still look like the day were just made. Over the years we have really perfected this process and are so proud to share these rays of sunshine with you all. We know you will love them just as much as we do

HeeBee Geebs Jewelry is lightweight and the petals themsleves are actually flexible! We recommend treating this jewelry very gently. Do not sleep, swim, or bathe while wearing this jewelry. Since they are made from real flower petals, their colors could change slighly with time 

The petals have a UV proof clear coat, however to best preserve the natural colors of the petals we recommend limiting sun exposure as the UV rays can slowly degrade the protective UV proof coating. We do put multiple layers of this UV proof clear coat on each petal to ensure as much protection as possible. With that said, you can definitely wear this jewelry out and about on a sunny day. However we do not recommend sunbathing whie wearing this jewelry. Do not store in direct or exposed sunlight.

Since the earring petals are flexible, avoid over-bending or applying pressure for long periods of time as this can mis-shape the petals and/or cause damage. They will naturally be more flexible on warm days and less flexible on cold days. Transport this jewelry in a box rather than loosely in pockets/bags to avoid damage.

The earrings themselves are very lightweight, so be sure to wear earring backings to avoid loss. Each pair of HeeBee Geebs earrings comes with a set of small clear backings on them so they are ready to wear.

Polish metal components of jewelry with a jewelry polishing cloth, avoid polishing the petals themselves.

Avoid spraying with hair sprays and perfumes as this can damage the clear coats and glues used.

For necklaces, the petals are mounted to either sterling silver or golden brass. Chains are either sterling silver or 14k gold-filed. Be sure not to swim or bathe while wearing this jewelry, especially the necklaces.
